June’s Pantone Featured Tone: Mimosa

This month we’ve teamed up again with our friends at Everlasting Wardrobe to pick a distinctive Pantone colour to feature that we’ve seen used in brands all around the world. Each brand uses the featured colour uniquely and we are excited to share some of our favourites. For June, we are highlighting the perfect cheery shade: Mimosa. This tone is a warm, golden yellow inspired by the popular cocktail (all you parents want to be enjoying right now) and the flowers of the Mimosa tree. We loved that Mimosa is described as a hopeful, radiant and optimistic colour, which seems especially fitting right now. See how just a few brands are highlighting this shade and why not incorporate it into your child’s wardrobe!

Never a brand to shy away from colour, New York company Toobydoo offers the perfect polka dot skater-style dress with cross back straps and the perfect skirt to twirl in!

Montreal-based company Souris Mini loves to play with prints and patterns, often incorporating bright and bold colours into their pieces. This pear print romper is just perfect for summer in the most stunning Mimosa shade!

The story behind the Eight Thousand Miles brand is as unique as their gorgeous handprinted garments. You’ll find beautiful Mimosa those throughout their collection, but we just adore this sunflower print.

Finally, Animama was inspired by children’s artwork when creating their brand in 2012 and they bring the perfect balance of childhood simplicity and sass to their pieces! This striped tank with a bold Mimosa accent is a summer must-have.
