First, we leave the city noise behind us, and the show begins with the first group of children wearing urban activewear and bouncing with energy. Metropolitan symbolism is a staple of the first part of the collection, interpreted through prints with shiny details for Il Gufo’s urban side, or watercolours, like the city skyline or skaters, on T-shirts for boys. Fabric overlays create technical-romantic and sporty-rap effects.
Next, we are reconnecting with nature and its inhabitants. The colour palette is faithful to the tones of nature and explores the entire range of browns and blues, in harmony with yellows and pinks from pastel to sorbet. Prints become softer in colour and shape, as little rabbits and watercolour butterflies peek out. The suggestion of a flower-filled meadow is printed on T-shirts in cotton voile and poplin dresses, fabrics mixed and embellished by a play of ruching. Fabrics such as broderie anglaise and lace create romantic dresses for girls who love to dream. The timeless seersucker appears both in girls’ garments and in jackets and trousers for boys, striped or gingham.
