Children’s Fashion From Spain: Pitti Bimbo 89 Runway Recap

Grab your game controllers! Pitti Bimbo’s first runway show of the season was all about the multi-dimensional adventure of the video game world. Kicking off Pitti Bimbo’s opening day, the Children’s Fashion From Spain show was a must-see. Inspired by the limitless possibilities of digital games, the show’s theme allowed viewers to jump between worlds and celebrate the freedom of movement. Adorned with eye-catching detailing and warm summer shades, five of our favourite Spanish brands graced the catwalk with their new SS20 collections.

Tuc Tuc brought its wild side to Pitti Bimbo! The Spanish brand’s latest collection, titled “Party Animal”, is all about the rumble in the jungle. Designs are inspired by a cultural fusion of tropical ethnicity. With sunset shades of orange and pink, colour blocked with cool greens and blues, all pieces are undeniably eye-catching. The collection focuses on the integration of chambray with animal and floral watercolour prints, resulting in playful and colourful designs. With feathers and free spirit, we are head over heels for this latest release!

A mixture of simplicity and sophistication, Amaya’s latest pieces showcase effortless elegance. Inspired by the 1947 era, marked by the introduction of high fashion led by Dior, the SS20 collection is graceful and refined. All pieces are delicately adorned with exceptional detailing and fluorine tones.

In its latest “Savage Spirit” collection, Boboli brings out the fearless edge in your little ones. With bold tones and structured shapes, these powerful pieces inspire feelings of bravery and adventure. The designs combine army style with an African jungle theme, through the use of shiny metallics and fierce zebra prints. This collection is an absolute must-have for little warriors!

Abel & Lula’s latest collection provides a wide range of beautiful designs, for all occasions. The pieces are divided into three families: Ceremony, Special Occasions, and Everyday Elegance. We absolutely adored the show’s detailed floral print, paired with hues ranging from lemon yellow to bright rose red.

With Mayoral, it’s all about the patterns and prints. The SS20 collection is all about geometric detailing, such as pairing stripes with bold denim. Playing with the theme of African culture, Mayoral uses various shades of yellow to add a summer twist to the pieces. We absolutely love the detailing of this collection!
