Monnalisa showcased their AW19-20 collection at the exceptional, 19th century Palazzo della Borsa Valori on Lungarno Diaz, in Florence Italy earlier this month. The company which has been a fixture in high-range childrenswear for 50 years, presented their newest offerings at #PittiBimbo88 to the press and buyers against a gorgeous draped backdrop. Photographer Emily Kornya caught the stunning show from behind her camera and we are sharing just a few favourite images she took.
Iconic outfits in the new collection this year feature embroidery and play with lettering, mixing them with toile de Jouy prints and a touch of tartan. The result? An irresistible wardrobe of romantic botanic prints, high waisted cropped or mille-raie corduroy pants, faux leather biker jackets with a faded look, padded vests paired with plissé skirts in contrasting colours. White, black, dark blue, black and bright ruby red are all key!
