Larsen Thompson has it all: style, beauty, talent and serious wit! The 14-year-old professional dancer, model and actress is bound for superstardom but, in the meantime, she’s exploring the world of fashion blogging! We are so excited to announce that Larsen will be joining Poster Child as a guest blogger and contributor focusing on brands, fashion and style for tween girls.
We wanted you to get to know Larsen a little better so we asked her a few question in today’s Q&A!
Larsen, tell us a bit about yourself! What do you do and what are your hobbies?
I am a fun and energetic 14 year old that is into fashion and lives to dance. When I’m not acting/modeling/dancing/singing I love to hang with friends and family. I played soccer prior to dance but didn’t have time to balance both.
What do you love about dance and fashion? How you see the two industries overlap?
I am able to express myself through dance and I love fashion to show off different looks and styles depending on the occasion. Both are outlets for me to share my passion and how I feel in the moment.
Through professional dancing you have had some awesome opportunities; what has been your most memorable or favourite experience so far?
Definitely being on the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards a few years ago where I was able to dance with Pitbull and Christina Aguilera. It was a live show and an incredible experience meeting other celebs after the show like The Rock, Johnny Depp, and Fergie.
What is your favourite clothing designer or brand right now? Why?
My fav clothing designer is Johnny Wujak; we just met on a music video set recently. He styles for Katy Perry and made the most amazing costume for me. Some of my favorite brands are Wildfox Couture and Carmar which are super comfy yet stylish to go out in every day.
Who are your biggest style influences at the moment?
I love Kate Moss’s style and her personal brand in the modelling industry. I hope one day to have the opportunity to meet her.
You’ve had opportunity to model for some cool brand;, what has been your favourite job?
My recent shoot with Aeropostale was probably the most memorable thus far. The shoot was on the Disney Ranch which was so cool and the clothes were for their upcoming summer line.
