Established in 2006, the Bonnie Young brand made its way into the children’s fashion industry – and our closets. Bonnie launched the line while she was still the Creative Director of Donna Karan collection, a position she held for 16 years. Bonnie combines nomadic glamour and timeless quality into each and every piece she creates. With an international following, Bonnie Young is artistic and powerful, and speaks to a wide array of clientele.
Bonnie founded Fashion Fights for Children’s Rights to bring awareness and raise funds to support children’s organizations. Her work demonstrates that fashion can truly change the lives of others for the better, and her global initiative is dedicated to aligning her brand with organizations that protect the rights of all children, near and far.
Featured in top international publications, website, and television over the years, Bonnie has made her mark in the global fashion industry. With the first store opening of children’s luxury fashion in 2007 to the expansion into women’s couture pieces and collaboration with Henry Benguelin 2011, Bonnie Young continues to amaze and inspire fashionistas of all ages around the globe.
We had the opportunity to see Bonnie Young’s runway show at Petite Parade and we were not disappointed! Beautiful dresses, capes, and jackets flooded the runway, and we loved the how graceful and natural the models looked in every piece. The collection’s colours were bold and many pieces had a light fur trim, adding more depth and uniqueness to each garment. Finishing off Petite Parade with Bonnie’s collection was the best way to wrap up an amazing day full of fashion and glam!
Our favourite piece from the Bonnie Young collection was this stunning red velvet off-the-shoulder dress with fur detailing worn by Mary. We love that the dress was worn over a pair of pants with stockings, making it the perfect ensemble for fall!
