Yellow is the perfect shade to make you feel bright and cheerful, even when the weather isn’t so lovely!
Poster Child’s Junior Fashion Correspondent, Ella Mendelsohn, styles three yellow-inspired looks that make us feel anything but mellow!
When the weather gets warm I start wearing a lot of dresses. They are easy to throw on for school and make getting ready in the morning fast, so I can sleep longer! This dress from H&M kids is the perfect piece for spring and summer. Plus its only $4.99 definitely a steal! Here I paired the dress with a pop of red, a denim jacket and accessories! A great denim jacket is good to have in your wardrobe – it’s an easy layering piece when you don’t know what to wear! You can’t go wrong with a denim jacket.
Wearing head to toe yellow can sometimes can be a bit much! This amazing faded, vintage-look tee shirt is really cool; the yellow is softer and much easer to wear! I paired it with grey striped casual shorts and fun, trendy red Vans. (Can you tell I like red shoes?)

This look is my favorite and the perfect transition outfit from freezing NY weather into spring. These pieces are a splurge, but I love the style and the colorS and I feel like I would wear this all the time and in a lot of different ways! I paired this cute cardigan with loose denim jeans, a little yellow bag and red stripe espadrilles! This cardigan can be worn with a simple white tee or tank. Plus, you can tie it around your waist when the sun comes out and still look super cool!
