“Just in Colour” is the latest Spring/Summer collection by the Parisian fashion brand Petite Bergamote. Designed by Ilona Smadja and Daria Kusina, the retro-inspired brand combines a child’s energy with the elegance and glamour of 1950’s fashion and culture. Merging the past with the present using today’s luxury fabrics alongside the nostalgic designs curated and detailed by the brand’s artisans, the newest collection offers vintage poolside chic, reminiscent of the old Hollywood era, with a splash of contemporary appeal.
The Spring/Summer lookbook is a collection influenced by the colour blocking patterns of Dutch Painter Piet Mondarin, and the assortment of high-quality pieces made for effortless, everyday style. Separated into two parts, “Mondrian’s Harmony” and “Daily Chic”, the line is ebullient and timeless as a whole, showcasing youthful halter tops, sophisticated a-line dresses, and loosely wrapped playsuits with feminine shoulder ruffles.
From casual wear to polished evening looks, the collection also features a variety of colourful shorts, graceful one-shoulder tops, and refined blazers with voguish mandarin collars. Along with the bold, Mondarin colour palette painted atop retro boat necklines, each article of clothing is designed with attentive details in mind, from special cuts to product convenience as tested by models.
