Swedish children’s clothing brand Mini Rodini just launched their fall/winter 2016 collection titled “Young and free in Alaska.” The collection, designed for newborns to preteens, is the perfect blend of style and sustainability.
Mini Rodini made sure to use organic textiles wherever possible throughout the collection, using 96 percent more sustainable products than conventional with organic, recycled or Modal materials. Even the wool featured is certified organic by Global Organic Textile Standard, and certified for eco-friendly processes and humane animal husbandry, which is quite an impressive feat!
“Young and free in Alaska” focuses on outerwear (think puffy jackets and baseball jackets), and other seasonal essentials including overalls, sweaters and pieces for the festive season. The collection also draws inspiration from the animal kingdom and includes statement prints designed with badgers, bunnies, deer, and wolves. Mini Rodini’s signature panda and panther are also included in the prints. Rounding out the collection are basics, including t-shirts and leggings, in earthy tones.
If you’re looking to pick up some pieces for your children that don’t compromise the environment for fashion, Mini Rodini’s “Young and free in Alaska” is full of great options!
